Design communication and diagnostic specification algorithms and features to meet customer and industrial requirements for controlled brakes products and controlled suspension systems. Support CAN-Intra Vehicle Communication and Diagnostic Communication for customers. Develop and maintain internal serial communication and diagnostic implementation specifications. Create application system requirements and review, interpret and clarify customer requirements. Test software for conformance to specifications and create software change requests to implement system requirements. Design serial communication and diagnostics specifications to meet AUTOSAR architecture needs. Design and Develop scripts to enable automated checkouts. Use serial communication tools to perform release checkouts. Collaborate with Software and Test Engineers to ensure Serial Communication, Diagnostics and System requirements are accurately implemented. Create system anamoly reports and participate in issue investigations.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor – Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or in a related field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree; Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Controls Engineer, or in a related embedded controls engineering role; Experience must include: 1. AUTOSAR architecture. 2. Matlab and System design. 3. CAN communication and Diagnostics. 4. Automotive CAN communication tools including: CANalyzer, CANCase, CANoe, VectorVT, and, CAPL scripting. 5. ATI data acquisition and analysis tools.
